You can NOT have any leaks between the VAM and the TB. It will cause the motor to run lean. Double check every pipe seal and make sure it's not leaking and make sure the IC doesn't have a hole on it.

You don't have to buy new throttle body's. Just go to the JY and have a field day. The 5.0 TB will work fine. I use one off a 4.6 but it's a little harder making it work on the 2.3 motors.

I used to have that same issue with my car. I think it because it runs a bit rich afte those RPM's and because I had the stock exhust.

Looks like it was poorly scanned or the picture was re-taken with a digi camera. I've been known to do that a couple of times.

I had an after-market front bumper from a mid 90's Honda Civic on front of my car. Pretty damn close but you need to cut the the ears that stick up next to the headlights. Would be easy on a FG bumper.
