Something that is almost as important as an intercooler would be a bigger fuel pump. If you have strong stock pumps you will be okay, but at almost twenty years old, there's a good chance the stockers won't be up to the task. A lot of people go with the Walbro high flow/high pressure unit.

Ed, there is a baffle on there. It's the silver thing to the right, and above, of the filter. Rat_n_a_cage, if you want, you can expand the hole in the fender to get more air to it.

If the connector hose doubles back on itself, or in general makes more than a single right angle turn, then that could cause an unnecessary restriction. The web-page says that it must be postmarked by the Monday, May 21st. Since there is no such date as Monday the 21st of May, what date is the cut-off?
