Flex pipes on the exhaust were not installed on the original setup. Imagine a 15' long pipe vibrating and resonating...
I'm using a Stinger header, cut apart and pieced back together for alignment purposes, braced and relieved, so far so good.

Re: Antifreeze
I can't remember the capacity of the factory XR setup, (anyone??) but generally, for the minimal investment in fluids, I try to remember to change mine every 2 years.
Brake fluid goes every year.

Re: Antifreeze
It's more important to ensure regular changes, than whatever you decide to put in it, IMHO.
Next to brake fluid, it's the most neglected fluid I see after 40+ years of working on motor vehicles.

Re: Oil leak
Still using the cheezy factory oil feed to the turbo? They can develop hairline cracks that open under higher rpm/oil pressure.
Same for the oil pressure sender, if that's still in play.

My "go-to" site for this stuff. I could put together a diagram, but these guys can explain it much better.

Re: Hello from a new member in Australia
I've shipped parts (a LONG time ago...) to a fellow XR4Ti owner on Australia...
Just to be clear, are you after a XR4Ti Bi-wing, or a set of RS500 wings?
