Very well, I will replace with a motorcraft part! To check the breather, should I just remove it and look for a clog?

Thank you! Update: The PCV valve, as you pointed out, is not Motorcraft. It does work, however, and neither the valve or the hoses are clogged. Could the breather cause a leaky seal as well?

I'm going to try to get some thicker rubber washers from a hardware store to serve as the gaskets, so hopefully that will work. It should at least improve the problem, since a few of them were just completely missing.

I did actually see a small leak towards the back of the valve cover, however it was not actively dripping and did not look like it had been spewing oil at that sort of rate. I will get that area super clean then watch carefully for any major leaks. Thank you Ed!

By the way, the car seems to be running fine. Not down on power at all, shoots right up to full boost with no problems at all.

In an effort to save some cracking of my low pressure AC hoses and some life in my battery, I would like to shield these components from the heat of the turbo. I would like to know how you have been successful/unsuccessful in heat wrapping/proofing your battery and AC hose. Thanks!
