Hi from (not so)sunny Scotland
Hi all,
Just joined this site after reading the how to bonnet release posts and had my Scorpio bonnet open 5 mins later. Thanks all that posted in that one.
I live in Scotland UK in Ayrshire and one of my pleasures is my Scorpio 24v Cosworth converted to a pick up with Ford P100 bed. I'll see if I can add a pic(nope wont let me add...). Probably more like an Australian ute than the larger pick ups that are available nowadays. Bought it during our lockdown in a moment of weakness on ebay.
As most of you will know our UK Ford Granada was your Merkur and then we went onto the "frogeye" Scorpios 94-98 so there should be a lot of good info on here for me.
Regards.
John.

A Cosworth powered car converted into a pickup? I think some of the members here would like that.

Sorry haven't replied quicker my first post needed approving and then been busy out in garage.
I've been heatshrinking over bare wires in my loom to the EDIS6 as car would die. All 12 wires done from 4-6 inches back from plug.
So far car is back to running well again with no cutting out.
I was hoping I could post a picture of the car but the insert image button above is not playing ball with me. Any hints appreciated or have you got to post several times before it allows?- Aha! just saw the post about needing to be a fully paid up member of MCA to add image directly to posts...that will be the issue then.
Regards. John.

The Brat is real. I saw it in person. The Mustang looks like it has some body damage. Maybe it's in the bodyshop parking lot. So someone most likely put that truck bed on there as a joke. Then someone snapped a picture. I like to use imgbb or imgur (they ruined photobucket) to host pictures. Just paste the link here. Also you can use this page to host if you're a paid member. I'd like to see some pictures of this Cosworth pick em up truck. It must be the only one like it in the world.

Wow 49 pages! I'll need to get a better look over the coming weeks while I'm recovering from over-eating at christmas. Looking good though. John.DPDISXR4Ti wrote: ↑Wed Dec 14, 2022 11:10 pmWelcome John. If you're bored have a look through my project thread....

John: check the beginning date and "rough on-the-road" date. (You'd want your timeline to be compressed I'll bet ).

Willdo Ed cheers. I will find a way of posting photos soon. I uploaded my phone photos to my google drive methinks but then I kinda got lost trying to find them on computer. I'll look up how to do this as I always get there eventually. Not very techy when it comes to modern commsEd Lijewski wrote: ↑Tue Dec 20, 2022 6:01 pm John: check the beginning date and "rough on-the-road" date.
