ding ding ding :!::!::!: Yeah I bought a 99 MX-5 red with black interior. only 47k on the odometer. original owners were old people who used it on weekends, previous owner was a girl that took good care of it. I'll get some pics up soon.

Its wicked fun to drive.

Congrats man. Be sure to stop by and give me a ride. Bring the fuel pressure gauge if you can.

Duh... you did say not European!

You know... every time I've driven a Miata, it's put a smile on my face. It's gotta be one of the best all-time cars, as honest as the day is long, and blessed with flawless handling. It's a great-looking car to boot. Have fun! :cheers

*Sigh* One of these days, Alice... one of these days!

X2 for the supercharger...
A pal of mine back in Nova Scotia kept bugging me to find him a Miata.. He'd had a few serious muscle cars back in the day, and had sort of utilitarian vehicles since. He really wanted his old "B" back, but without all the headaches. I finally gave in when I found the SE one, with 6 speed, tan leather on "BRG" and a Jackson Racing blower. We ditched the aftermarket wheels, left the suspension kit and SS exhaust on it, and man, what a sleeper. It had pistons and a porting job done, and some sort of electronic tuning device, and I'd estimate about 250 to the wheels. :o
When it hooked up, there was nothing that would beat that thing out of an intersection.
It's not a hobby, it's an obsession!
