I suspect it was removed by the lister. Ebay won't pull anything these days. Look for an internet connection leading to under a rock.

Mission Accomplished

Post by salukixr4ti » Thu Nov 13, 2008 11:30 am

Either way, I got what I wanted. I suspect what happened was after I submitted everything as payment sent, Ebay tried to collect the auction fees, and hit a wall. That was probably what prompted them pulling everything. I got that same email for every "purchase" I made.

Hey guys, I don't know if it makes a diffrence, but I went by Nacs and it doesn't look good for whoever is waiting to recieve stuff. There are 2 signs posted on the door, one says that the locks have been changed on them by the landlord and the other one is from a bailiff saying that they owe $24,000 for rent. Basically they have been shut down. Sorry for the bad news.

I met the guy in person, seemed like a nice guy, but he had big dreams! I was a little skeptical when he started making RS parts. Didn't he realize most people don't know what a Merkur is. To me it seemed like a small market. I bought a bumper fogs and spliter from him and got them all. There was a long wait but it came.

NACS Bumper

Post by salukixr4ti » Mon Nov 17, 2008 1:26 pm

I did get a bumper, but won't use it on anything I own. It's $#!%. Best case - paint it up and put it on a really nasty rally stage. When it gets destroyed, no tears necessary.

Trust me, big dreams in Cossie world is akey marker pointing toward DISASTER.

When DAZ and his crowd came on the scene with fatuous claims and claimed to be "North America's ONLY Cosworth resource" and then people told me I have more mechanical bits and engines etc than they did, I knew we were dealing with bullsh1tters, and bullsh!tters in a business is always bad news, usually for the customers.

This new hero a mechanic? Engine builder, HOW and WHY is he supossedly able to be a Cossie expert?[/i]

I did manage to get the $#!* i did order from them. It was like pulling teeth though. As much as the cossie ford sierras and escort are cool they are limited to a cult following do to the fact that we got shafted with only one generation of sierra. I never did get that North America only cosworth experts. Considering the YBs existance in the history of cosworth and ford for that matter it seems they forgot like a good 40-50 years of racing. I've probably worked on more cosworth powered $#!* then they have. I mean $#!*, old lotus 18 motors come with cosworth valve covers. Then theres that sill DFV motor that was around forever. Then theres FVA/FVC and the BD series that actually was in the escort mk2 not to mention various formula atlantics and sports racers. Yah they had a pretty ridiculous claim going. If I was going into the market to sell bumper covers and $#!* I probably would try to sell kits for more cars then just the merk. That was a bit hopeful.
