Careful! There's a nudist approaching the car from the driveway in the third pic!
Ya thats my neighbor. It was actually hot here that day.
Anyway got the car running awesome now, at 15lbs boost. It breaks the tires loose shifting into 3rd, and pulls hard all the way to 7000 rpm in any gear. Can't wait till the dyno, and probably 22lbs of boost. I am offering free rides for anyone that will come out to Saskatoon. I will post the dyno sheet as soon as I get it.

Made a 1500km trip with the car this weekend, with no problems. Until I got home and was on the freeway behind an 07 Shelby, anyway I was keeping up pretty good for only 8lbs boost, until a chunk of the guibo fell off. I was planning on putting an aluminum shaft in anyway, just not this soon. It still drives normal, but any more boost will probably rip the rest it apart. If anyone is interested in the T5 yolk adapted to the stock shaft, shoot me a PM. It should be available end of next week.

Had some troubles and did not make it to the dyno. First i broke the WG dump tube. Then my water pump wasn't pumping enough coolant at idle, it was fine if you revved it to 2000rpm. The toe also looked off so I took it in for another wheel alignment and I told them to rev it up if they test drove it, but they obviously didn't listen because as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot and I could see the white smoke behind me. So anyway the head gasket was blown and the head was warped .003" and the arp stud washers had started to sink in. So I am now waiting on special hardened inserts for the studs. And I got a Essy HV water pump. The cost of horsepower. Image

The Merk is parked for the winter. But spring will be good, with a rebuilt bottom end and a new turbo and syncronic BOV.

And look what finally arrived, my winter beater. A 2010 Jetta TDI. It is an amazing car, quick too and did I mention 45 mpg in the city.

I finally got the monster dynoed. I am very happy with the results.

369 whp and 371 wtq @ 20psi on 91 Octane and 18* total timing.

It also made an impressive 220 whp @ 7psi.

I will post the graph when I have it.

Damn those are nice numbers! That thing must be an awful lot of fun to drive. Nice work. Enjoy it.

Here is the biggest chart of the day. Numbers on chart are before sae correction. But 350 whp was the goal anyway. Now I just need a helmet and some decent tires then hello dragstrip and autox.
