I would find it funny that you bought a VAG car for its "reliability" but then I remembered MERKUR. All of a sudden I understand that it will indeed be more reliable, and even if it isn't you can actually get the parts for it. And having never been in/known anyone with an older vw, I can't say I know crap about them. What I do know, is that there is no such thing as a $4000 audi, the b5 a4, I've been driving has cost about $8000 in the last year ($1300 was my fault). I also knew that going in. I'm cursed with a love of cars that can be described by the phrase "wonderful...when they work"

It's really not that big of a stretch from one Karmann to another, after all... always thought that especially the contemporary Corrado was very Sierra-like. Thanks for dropping by to say hello and post pix-- the Karmann tent is plenty big enough.
