According to the owner's craigslist ad for the BaT link, mileage is 132k.

$4K... not too bad for a 132K XR with some issues.

yeah, the respray looked good minus the overspray on the tailpipe but 4k seems pretty solid. Just needs a new dash and front seats. I feel like 5 years ago a good condition XR was going for 2500-3500. Interestingly enough I got my first two craigslist inquiries on my car the night of this one selling. Good P.R.!

Punters were probably trying to see if they could grab this one cheap and when it didn't work out they moved on to you.
I'm still waiting for another really good one to come up so we can see where the top of the XR market is.

It's been quite awhile. The last one sold was before '80's cars began showing up at Mecum or Barrett-Jackson. Now there are a lot of them.
