Hello All

Post by UnderPSI » Sat Dec 10, 2005 4:51 pm

Hello All!!

My name is Chris and I own a Merkur!! (everybody) Hello Chris!!

Its an 85 XR4Ti, with a 3" Magnaflow Turbo Back exhaust. Adjustable FPR and Manual Boost Controller. The car is currently sitting in about a foot of snow waiting for me to install the centerforce DF clutch. I have owned this car for about 3 months now and have maybe driven it a total of 1 week. My other vehicle is an 84 chevy c/10 truck with a 472 caddilac motor in it that depending on the nitrous jets the truck has run as fast as a 12.4 at 112 in the quarter mile. I have sprayed as much as a 300 short of juice through that motor both on the street and at the track. Unfortunately that same truck is sitting in a barn all winter in need of a driveshaft that bent when I destroyed a U-Joint last track outing. The daily driver is an 88 ford T-bird with the indestructable 5.0 in it. I cant wait until spring when I can get back behind the wheel of the Merkur and start tuning and modifying more.
I Have worked on and modified many types of cars/trucks from building 4G63 motors to Nitrous on just about anything. I am sure I can and will be a positive impact on this board and that I will have many many questions regarding my Merkur build up.

Thank You
Chris

Those pics were taken from the ebay listing I havent taken any yet. The muffler is a magnaflow single 3" inlet and dual 2.5 out with 3" tips. The previous owner worked at an exhaust shop and he made/installed the exhaust along with the 3" downpipe. Car has a nice sound similar to an SRT-4.

What's that in the left rear of your avatar's engine compartment, a brick of cheddar cheese? :P

He's from Wisconsin; he knows cheese. They have to find all kinds of uses for that stuff... He'll probably bring buckets of it to Carlisle.
