I don't think ricer is about equipment...it's more like a state of mind...that leads to a bogus "lifestyle"...so unless the monster bov bleeds into you daily life and decisions your ok...

I have the Forge dual piston BOV, and couldn't be happier with it. 8) It helped drivability alot, too.

Ok here's "dilusional"...Since I decided to go conservative with a bypass valve (makes a subtle but neat old school A4 Skyhawk carrier launch noise) ... and since deep down I think it'd be cool to have a big noise BOV...I've convinced myself that the BPV using the reversion wave off the throttle plate some how helps re-accelarate my compressor wheel for quicker spool when redirected back around in front. So it's somehow better... HA!!

Meh, if anything you're just going to create unnecessary turbulance in the intake with a BPV.

I can't afford a Godzilla - it's like 300 bucks.

I was using a TccWork Stage III mega super ricer BOV before... that was about $75 on eBay. My buddy with a 240SX is going to give me his BOV when he buys a yaaaaawwnnn Super Sequential.... :)

It really does change the personality of the car. Especially if you up the boost to say like 17psi...it turns it from an anemic 4 cyl that slowly but suddenly "comes on" after hi rpm shifts to something resemblig a straight six with a strong mid range... and sudden throttle lifts from high rpms are noticebly smoother...I was delighted with how the addition turned out.

Can we get some part numbers here? My current $5 BOV is just not doing it for me... driveability is suffering on the throttle close.

Bailey DV26
Turbonetics Godzilla
Forge
??

And maybe a source (other than ebay)? I really can't spend hundreds of dollars on this car right now, the warden won't let me

Thanks for that - a couple of questions for you!

Do you have this piece? Impressions?

Any idea on the price? Their site is down for "redevelopment"
