Okay, one last post before I leave; for real this time.

David Godfrey sent me pictures of his two piece front brake rotor setup installed on the Scorpio spindles that he has installed on his XR4Ti. How can I turn such coolness away? I've posted the pictures, but because I did two other updates late last night/early this morning, his pictures are the third down from the top.

I've been up and running on a Turkish satellite ISP and enjoying internet access and nearly all the capabilities I had at home. I prepared the laptop that I brought with me with everything I would need to make updates to web pages in the event that I had the opportunity. Time might be a little bit short for me (I'm working insane hours), but I am still able to get stuff done.

What's all this blathering about, you ask? I'm getting ready to make a big batch update to the MerkurTech.com Picture Page (MTPP). I have a handful of pictures that I have been sitting on and it is time to make the update. Please send me the picture of the projects or unique/rare items that you have been working on or have put on your Merkur (or are about to put onto your Merkur). One of my favorite additions is intercooler setups.

If you have anything semi-interesting, please feel free to email the pictures to me. Just share a brief desription of what I am looking at so I can include it. I'm going to make the update next weekend (14-15 April), so don't delay. My email address is:

anglin@mc2racing.com

If you aren't sure if your pictures are worthy, just email me and we'll chat about it.

Thanks!

Well, my email took a crap for the first time in the more-than 5 year time span that I've been operating with the mc2racing.com email address. I have no idea if anybody emailed me anything because all of the emails coming in were bouncing right back out.

If you emailed me and it bounced, please resend the email. I got absolutely zero response to my request for pictures to post on the MTPP, so I think it is my email's fault.

Please email your project or interesting item pictures and I'll post them!

Well, it took more than a month with the internet outages I've experienced and the email system failures, but the MerkurTech.com Picture Page (MTPP) is finally updated. Thanks for being patient while I worked to get everything together and found the time to make the updates.

I put a total of 10 new topics up. There are two new intercooler systems posted, some custom machined coilover components, some European stuff that you've probably never laid eyes on before, a fix for a common problem on the XR chassis and a custom harness bar that bolts into the car, among other things. I updated the stats in the first post of this thread. I'm 2 pictures short of 1000 pictures on the MTPP!

If you discover that any of the pictures are missing please drop me an email at anglin@mc2racing.com so I can fix the missing file. Just tell me what the file name is on the page and that will REALLY help me. My internet is ridiculously slow (I saw 0.77 KB/sec on upload), so the more info you can provide the faster I'll be able to fix the problem.

If you have pictures that you'd like to have included in the next go-round, please email them to anglin@mc2racing.com. I'll get them up the next time I do an update.

Howdy again. I just completed another update to the MTPP. This pushes the total number of pictures there to more than 1000. Wowza. The subject is Grayson's installation of the Forge RS500 intercooler.

Alrighty, I woke this thread up again. It was on page 6 of the forum section. I guess I need to get with it.

With free picture hosting services, the MerkurTech.com Picture Page (MTPP) has lost some of its relevance. Folks can post pictures of their own projects to their own picture hosting accounts and share them with folks on forums and so forth. However, with information spread around so many different accounts, it becomes somewhat more difficult to find what you are looking for.

Last night I renewed the MerkurTech.com domain name for another 2 years. I did consider letting it lapse but then I realized that might be a big mistake. The concept of the Picture Page is now about 10 years old and it still has valuable material.

In light of this, I can't make it valuable without your help. The MTPP needs your pictures! If you have pictures of projects you've done, neat or unusual parts or anything similar, email them to me at anglin@mc2racing.com. Please include a description of what I am seeing in the pictures so I don't misrepresent anything.

Thank you for renewing it, and for creating it in the first place. It is a tremendously deep well of information I draw from often! 8)

With a little bit more free time available, I was able to start the MTPP updating process. I was going to do it in one bulk upload, but that takes several hours to process and may overwhelm you guys, so I'm taking it a piece at a time.

This evening I added pictures provided by Ian Potter of the differences between the European left hand drive and right hand drive headlamps.

Enjoy!

Hah! Hey Ray.. found it. I thought you had emailed me. <slaps forehead> Send whatchoogot.

All, I just updated the MTPP again. I'm trying to slowly work through all of the things that I have been so behind on. I'm picking the list apart one little bit at a time. Tonight I added pictures of David Lockhart's rear coilover suspension improvement.

David put a lot of work in the reconstruction of the rear shock towers so they could handle the spring loads in addition to the damper loads. I've been meaning to post these pictures forever, but I'm just now getting around to it.

Enjoy!

Hi again all. I took a little bit of time away from my recent bout of updating the MTPP for the holiday and other activities. I've uploaded another batch of pictures for you guys to observe. You may have already seen these pictures on the MCAF, but they were definitely Picture Page worthy.

Stefano Chimarios made a set of spacers to go between the bellhousing and gearbox of the late T5 to allow its installation on the 2.3 with minimal modification. Take a look:

This is more than just a regular old boring "TTT" post. I have good stuff to share. After seeing Stefano's T5 bellhousing spacer pictures, Chad De Baker sent me a sketch of dimensions for modifying the input shaft only to make the late T5 work properly. I posted the dimensioned sketch.

Additionally, Ray Covino converted his autocrosser to rear coilovers with some kickass QA1 coilover dampers. I've been hanging onto these pictures forever and now they are posted for all of you guys to enjoy!

Just go to the MTPP and enjoy!

It doesn't matter how much of a beat-down school is giving me... I still have time for an MTPP update! John Keefe and Mike Oyler sent me some pictures of a few of their recent projects and I added them to the MerkurTech.com Picture Page (MTPP).

- John installed Wilwood calipers on a set of rear Cosworth STAs with the larger bearing carriers (and giant wheel studs).
- Mike Oyler has been offering a intercooler and radiator combination kit for the XR4Ti that is just about as bolt-in as an intercooler gets on the XR4Ti. He sent me pictures of the installation of one of the kits (and I added the weight pictures).

So, that’s your double dose of MTPP tonight. Enjoy!
