Yeah, my car sleeps facing Valhalla and the Northern Lights in the garage-- seems to be happier that way.

And, in our multicultural word of today, no doubt some point to Mecca at specific times of the day.

Here are the Three Rules of Merkurs:

1.) Any Merkur you want to buy is always at least 2000 miles away from your location.

2.) Any Merkur violating Rule 1 is not for sale.

3.) Any Merkur violating Rules 1 and 2 is not as good as it seems to be.

Yep. It's true.

Very true, excepting only that you're on the hunt for a cherry Merkur in the first place. It's easy to stumble upon a mint Merkur for $500, but this happens exactly once in one's life. Thereafter, one becomes addicted and is ALWAYS on the lookout for more Merkurs. :o

Missing from above is: "Any Merkur you have for sale is always at least 2000 miles away from the most avidly interested party."

And: "The most avidly interested party typically doesn't have a pot to piss in."

Hmm.. That is very true as well. Maybe it should be 5 rules? Or maybe we can have two sets of rules: "Rules Of Buying A Merkur" and "Rules Of Trying To Sell A Merkur".

Turbo cars mechanically run better in cooler/colder weather. Perhaps this is why?
