I moved from Seattle to Sarasota in July of 2009, so I'm in Sarasota permanently now.

I'm up on University Pkwy, at the county line between Sarasota and Manatee counties. Venice is probably 30 minutes, so not too far. In fact, I'd be on your way down to Venice actually. I also try to get the Dupont Cars&Coffee meets, but haven't been since January because the XR has needed some work. Should be back in service in the next couple weeks though.

When was this? I've been in Sarasota 18 months now and have gone to a couple autocrosses in Ft. Myers and never saw that one. Too bad more folks don't wanna network locally... :(

I'm from South Florida, but my XR4TI still needs some work.

I'm in Palm Bay and just brought back my 85 XR4TI . Its been in storage in The U.P of MICH , SINCE 1990 , HAS 7500 MILES , 5 SPD , COMPLETELY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR, THIS IS MY 3rd one , My plan is to bring it to auction , MECUM , OR BARRETT-JACKSON WPB IN FEB
I Have talked with BARRETT-JACKSON AND WAS TOLD THEY HAVE NEVER HAD A MERKUR RUN THRU ,
I HAVE SEEN A FEW ON E BAY AND PRICING SEEMS SO WAY OFF , THE RACE HISTORY , THE FUN PERFORMANCE, IT JUST DOSENT SEEM RIGHT .
IS THIS CAR THE "RED HEADED STEPCHILD". From FORD / L.M.
I'm up for Meeting up with other owners , and have a few great stories from a couple of X owners I met on my trip back to FL with my car in tow

It's time to raise the BAR on the car WE KNOW DESERVES IT
