Kewanee, IL Cruise Night July 17

Post by eaton53 »

Since I bought my Merkur in Kewanee, I am coming to this Cruise Night if for once it doesn't rain.

I'm posting this to see if Miguel might come out so we can freak Kewaneeans out with a Merkur Infestation.

My XR is not running at the moment, I am dealing with some issues with the PIMP and some cosmetic things. I will love to see your XR in the show. :cheers

I'm coming to the cruise in on Friday for sure if it doesn't rain.
I've been doing a lot of those, but I'm not really into judged shows. I just like to hang out and check out the cars.

It's raining like crazy again today, but tomorrow night is looking like a go.
Good thing the cruise is in the evening. It's supposed to get hot and sticky.
Just as well that I don't do judged shows... the heat and humidity Saturday is going to be oppressive.

Yep, it will be hot and sticky, I work second shift, so I can't go to the cruise in the evening.
Have lots of fun and make people scratch their heads trying to figure out what kind of car are you driving,   :cheers

Too bad you can't come... I'll have to represent.
I have acquired more sales literature that I put out on display. That makes figuring it out easier.

Well, best laid plans... it's WAY too dang hot. the heat index is like 110... 77 degree dew point.
I was driving home from work and the temp gauge got to 3/4.
It never gets out of the center of the gauge at anywhere near normal temps.

No need to risk driving 50+ miles each way in this weather.

My wife didn't want to go. I couldn't disagree... it is nasty out there.
Next event is Tuesday. Supposed to be a lot cooler.
