If not, it's a fairly simple matter to switch to Early hoses, tap into the upper for a vent, and into the lower for a fill. Boom, done.

No, sorry. Cosworth radiators are out there that have the inlet / outlet like the 89s do so there is not much demand to do a run of the 89 only style.

It sure would be interesting to know how many by year are left on the road. I'd be surprised if there are 1,000 89s still out there.
