TIA

Two good used Scorpio inner toe rods I bought a couple of years ago from Merkur Depot to have as spares but don't need them any more.

$42 shipped CONUS via USPS.

Great! Thanks Guys.

As soon as I have time to pull the tires off and drop the rods, I'll know what I will need. Ed, you have PayPal? Scorp... I presume you do if you're on eBay.

Hi John,

I finally am taking time to review Scorpio forum.

If u didn't cure the front end shake... A long shot is the steering column grommet. t's located in the firewall. The tell tale sign is a jittery shaking of the steering wheel. Steering column is affixed to chassis under dashboard, but grommet is secondary isolator. Easy to R&R, but difficult to find and buy part.

Think you nailed, Bob. All else eliminated, gotta' be that. Although, not a lot of looseness up and down in the steering wheel when driving, but might not take much.

Brad mentioned the same, and was thinking about a group buy for full-on metal bearings to replace the bushing. I got one on eBay a month ago, but was saving it for the XR5.0L.

I'd get another one via Brad if he's putting together a buy. Failing that, I'd order another... looks very well designed & built.

Just FYI, inner & outer tie-rods were fine. Front wheels were out of balance (3.5oz., and 5.5 oz.!), and that's quieted it down, but not entirely. The shaking has gone from clock-face, to up and down (i.e., from radial to vertical shaking).
