1987 XR4Ti

Post by Swede » Tue Jun 16, 2015 12:29 am

I am selling my 1987 XR (I call her snow). She has 81,000 miles on her (original) and is in need of a good home. I have come to a point where I will be doing a lot of traveling (mostly for work) and I do not want to put to many miles on the XR. However, I am unable to afford another car unless I sell the XR. I am coming to you all because I know she will be taken care of if someone here buys her. I bought this car out of high school. Always let it warm up before driving and cool down before shutting off. (For my full spiel see my post in the General Discussion and Introduction forum)

The Good:
The XR is basically bone stock aside from a new coolant reservoir and hood latch cable from Rapido. Comes with a box of spare parts as well as a big box of shop manuals

The Bad:
Slight discoloration on the passenger side door panel (was like that when I bought her) and there is a decent rip in the front passenger seat and small seam separation on rear seat (again there when I purchased).

If you are interested here is a link to my Flickr album. (I have not yet figured out how to post pictures from Flickr :? )

As far as I can tell the car was originally sold in Texas (Dallas area) then gifted to the owner before me (also Dallas). Then I came and purchased it and moved it to New Mexico
