WTB Various parts for 88 XR4Ti

Post by Veloce06 » Thu Nov 19, 2015 10:55 pm

Finishing up one project, so looking to get started on the Merkur. Here is a list of various items I'm looking for. Some I need, but others are a wish. Let me know if what you have or if you know a good place online that has them.
  • Left and right rear tail lights
Hatch lock assembly - or was there some way to fix a broken lock that won't lock any more?
    Window rubber trim
    RS500 rear wing
    RS500 front bumper
    RS500 front grill
    RS500 lights
Left driving light - stock bumper
Turn signal arm with cruise emergency flashers
I eventually want to add a front IC. Is there an manifold that turns the current one -90 degrees to face the front?

I'm sure there are some things I have forgotten and will add to the list as I remember.

As for the Cosworth/RS500 stuff. That is a would like to have and I don't need OEM. I'm sure I don't have that kind of money.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks

I have a fiberglass RS500 lower rear wing.

Very nice $200

I also have the stock driving lights. $25.00 for the pair or free with the purchase of the wing above

Thank you everyone. I was able to find a replacement engine, so some of the more expensive items may have to wait.

Otherwise I get up with you guys for the smaller items.

Thanks

Jeff,

I keep meaning to call you and see what you have, but the days have just been too busy. I'm still planning on calling.

Why not stick a Cosworth YB motor in at the same time?

You can even convert to Cossie YB power and AWD---easy one stop shopping... :thumb

I would love a Cosworth engine. However, my pockets are definitely not that deep. Just the price of some of the Cossie parts alone are expensive enough.

Yeah all the foo-foo stuff does cost a hell of a lot of money.
I clearly erred in buying and build 3 very nice motors and stocking up all the needed bits to install and spares...very foolish of me.

What was I thinking?

John; silly you!

Didn't you know that the foo foo stuff makes it drive, handle and stop better?

Thoughts of following order of improving suspension, brakes, drivetrain and if more $$ left, going for the artificial stuff are highly overrated......
