WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
There were some rumblings on the facebook group about getting John V to make another run of kits, but we'd need many many folks to pony up some cash.
I'm very interested in a kit, and would love to pick one up if someone's got one sitting on a shelf. Let me know if you've got one to sell, shoot me a PM or respond here.

Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
I'm planning on removing mine around the end of the year or in Jan. I've got a 3.91 LSD and a 3.73 LSD along with a reinforced rear beam.
Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
I've got a diff, and would only need the mounting components. Let me know if you'd be interested in selling the mounting parts only!

I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering why you're doing that, and what you're planning to put in its place...

Depends on price I guess. I'll be heading through PHX in Jan. Maybe we can work something out?

Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
I'm located outside Chicago, not PHX.
Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
Woops! I was looking at John's response when I said that. I'll actually be in Chicago before I'm in PHX but that's a different story...

Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
You have one as well? I don't think I have any special enough parts to really trade, maybe a couple of T5 transmissions, (incld 2.95 gearset and a complete 2.95 Z28 trans), Cossie exhaust housing (and a section of 3" pipe that mates up to it) but I don't think I want to let go of that unless it sounded like something you really wanted.John Brennan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2017 10:45 amHey, I dunno, depends what you might trade for it! Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
Are we arranging a buy with him, or is that unobtanium?
Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
We'd need ~30 people to pony up. I need to collect all of the info and make another facebook post. There seems to be some interest but I don't know if it'll be enough, so I'm looking elsewhere as well.

Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
For anyone looking, I have a Supra LSD diff here. I'd have to check the ratio.
It's not a hobby, it's an obsession!
Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
Make the post, or do you need/want help with it?
You talk with him often it seems, you're used to his antics.
I have an idea regarding how to handle the money portion.
People need to know what is included and how much it will cost for what is offered.
I believe Jeff Esteban may have tried a post on FB when this originally came out, in his post he specifically stated don't ask about what is included and other crap, and the first couple posts were exactly that so he threw in the towel, which I totally agree with.
I also know that lots of people talk, and few actually do.
Re: WTB JVAB Supra Diff Kit
I'd be making a post, but I would always accept help. Yeah, I wanted to collect a bit more information before he went with his post, generate some more interest, and try to provide that kind of information up front. There was a lot of good information in the comments, testimony from folks who've done the swap, reasons why, contents of the kit, John V talking pricing, etc. that I'd try to include up front.my8950 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2017 11:56 amMake the post, or do you need/want help with it?

I'd go over it and verify with John V before I put it up, and would gladly manage the deposits to get to John. My concerns are not getting enough people (hence looking here), and turn around time from John.
