FS: Rebuilt and Upgraded T-9

SOLD

New bearings, synchronizers, baulk ring springs and fingers, roller needles, MLS cometic gasket kit, all seals, speedo gear retaining plug. Upgrade modifications include all gears oil passages professionally tear-dropped for increased oil supply to mainshaft. Mainshaft and cluster gear support plate relieved for increased oil supply to cluster gear main bearing and mainshaft main bearing. 5th gear tear-dropped for increased oil supply. Main bearing support and main case oil valley extruded for increased oil supply. Cluster gear needle bearings upgraded to 21mm from 19mm for longevity and stability. Main case, main bearing support plate, and tail housing decked and stoned true for proper gasket seal. Proper oil drain plug added to bottom of case for oil changes without removing transmission. All through bolts sealed. Includes brand new Quaife short throw performance shifter. Can be supplied with 2.3 bell housing if needed.

Trans was hot-tanked and painted.

Can we see a pic of where the drain plug was added?

In the transmission there is a relief where the magnet sits. The magnet has a hole in the center. The drain plug is centered on the hole in the magnet, so that 1) its at the lowest point in the transmissions and 2) as you drain the oil as much debris as possible will be drained as well.
