Wanted: 2 door hinges

I did, I have handles and hinges, but out of town this week. I'll be back on the weekend and can get you some photos of the door handles too, they're not the metal ones, they're plastic.

Ok, so the car has good door handles, but no dew wipes.
At first I thought maybe because this is an 88 it doesn't have them, but I looked on my dads 89 and it does have them so???

Dew wipes... I always thought that meant the gaskets/wipers on either side of the window which wipes off water when you open? The seals/gaskets I'm looking for a on the front A-pillar that the upper/front pillar of the door seals onto, to keep rain and water coming off the side of the windshield from pushing into the interior. Want me to take a pic?

They eventually tear up and flop open with the door, so its likely the previous owner peeled them off when they went bad. You'll probably see two small holes top and bottom where the ends were rivoted onto the pillar.

This is the parts car, no mention of that same thing on it.
Although, this car also has the drip rails cleared off and some other body modifications, so maybe they were removed.

The hinges are posted earlier in here. Did you want the whole hinge or just the pins?

Just need the circlip'd pins, but if you've already cutout the hinges from the doors, then I'll take the complete units. Yep, that's seal on your Dad's red car which I'm looking for.

Funny, doesn't look like there were ever seals like that on your parts car. If you look closely at the ones on your Dad's car, you'll see a rivet at top and bottom. No holes on the pillar of your parts car? I suppose it might not really be needed, as long as the door seals are doing their job and not allowing any water into the cab. Are your door grommets/seals different than your Dad's? Which car is the newer?

I haven't removed anything yet, but I thought you wanted the entire hinge...No problem really.
The red is an 89, the parts car, white I think is an 88.
I'll have to check the other cars I have as well, I'm pretty sure my 88 driver has them.
I can survey my fleet and see what I get. The Scorpio does not have these felt strips either...But, it does have somewhat of a triple door seal.

Yeah, those grommets/seals on my Scorpio are pretty nice, though would probably never translate to the XR.
