Wanted to Buy Merkur XR4TI automatic

I am scouting for a very nice Merkur XR4TI that is an automatic? It is ok if it has an automatic upgrade trans. Will consider any colors but prefer black. The nicer the better. Let me know what you have. Tim

I still think about that very clean black automatic Mike sold on ebay a few years back. I should have bid on it, but I already had too many vehicles. It went for so cheap and would have be nice to daily around in the summertime. Man let it slip away.

When I was into these maybe 15 years ago there were around. I had a few to choose from. Now I almost never see them for sale. That is why I am here. I would consider a stick shift, but would prefer a black 1986 double spoiler automatic with grey leather like the one my son had before he went to Iraq for the army! Any out there? or a blue one? i am open? Tim

That is basically the car I sold on ebay in 2014 that Andy is talking about. The car only bid to $975 - I was a bit disappointed but I had 13 or 14 cars at the time and I was determined to get down to 10.
(Picked up the buyer at the airport and he drove it home from OH to NY without any trouble.)

Jeff Herson (aka blugg) has a blue automatic that is clean as clean gets for 3900 listed on Facebook marketplace in chicago area. He delivers and is great to work with.

I have a nice one owner 85- non sunroof car. 99k
Full service history, dealer maintained. Just cam out of storage(2003) just did full maintenance(timing belt, fluids, brakes etc).
Paris Blue with blue cloth.
Auto trans has ~450 miles on it.
In Connecticut.
