For Sale 1987 Merkur XR4TI , So Cal rust free mono white, 140k miles, 2k mile oil changes with Motorcraft oil filters and still has hone marks in the bores (I am a mechanic). New turbo cartridge, Bosch bypass valve. Converted from auto to T9, new clutch, rear seal, girbo, valve job and new freeze plugs, high flow water pump, Mercedes coolant tank, heater valve delete, Gillis boost valve, 3 wire oxy sensor, stainless braided turbo oil feed line, new battery re-located to the trunk, new alternator. Rust free California car, except 1 little patch on the roof at the front of the sunroof. Hydraulic hood struts (but gone bad) Immaculate grey leather interior, new headliner and carpet. Repinned LA2 and 3 inch vam, K & N cone air filter draws cool air from below inner fender. Cosworth grill converted to angry eye, Cosworth Head lamps (using 6 relays) with orange led`s as side lights. Hydraulic Mazda pick-up V6 clutch master and slave system, 150 mph speedo, Merkurmeter o2 dash indicator, 3 "downpipe to rear 3" exhaust, high-flow cat and muffler, KYB shocks, Cosworth thicker rear roll bar, custom made tow hitch (removable). Rear 195/60/15 tires are good. CarFax report, old smog papers and other info. Un abused and beaten on because I drive it lightly for good gas mileage, commuted to work for over 25 years.
Bad points : Tags are out of date since Oct 2016 (due to health issues) crack in windshield from the interior mirror mount down the passenger side, needs 2 front tires, steering rack boot leaks, very slight trans leak where speedo cable fits, clear coat is peeling passenger side. Needs a/c belt (I never use a/c), needs hood seal. Pioneer cd player and tuner head unit but no speakers, window tint is bubbled and slightly faded, sunroof stuck closed, (seal is bad, mechanism works ok) and interior sun roof screen needs a clean. Rear spoiler has slight sun burn. $2k
