I didn't think it was possible to totally "rice" a Merk, but I guess I was wrong. All you'd need is blue neon, Lambo doors and one of those sky high wings on the hatch. And the fart can.

I would rather have no bumper at all than have that. Now excuse me while I go lay in the fetal position and cry at the image that bumper has put into my mind.

The front is hideous, the side skirts are nice though, and the rear maybe ok but I'd have to see it on the car.

The front bumper from a late 90's Jag XJ are nearly identical in fitting dimensions. Just needa way to mount it.

I could do without the chrome accents, but otherwise, it seems acceptable...

Scorpio bumper

Post by EodGuy99 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 4:15 pm

Thats the bumper. I have one at my house, I'll take a pic with it next to one of my Scorpio's tomoorow and post a pic.
I think you could put a filler where the chromw goes, and it would look OK.

On an all black Scorp like blugg's, with just a few chrome accents around the windows, those bumper stips might work, especially with something similar out back.

Scorpio bumper

Post by EodGuy99 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 9:09 pm

The rear Jag bumper would likely be a close match also, and it also uses those same crome strips.
The late XJ's and the Scorpio ultima are pretty much the same size car, the rea suspension is very similar and the dash layout the same too.
Doesn't surprise as this was when Ford owned Jag, and these two cars fill a very close market segment in Europe( here too really)

i think gotxr has one.
Oddly at this very moment my Sapphire is parked beside my Scorpio. Butt to butt though. Measurements only no pics.

I'll try and get this done asap.

Honestly, those side skirts aren't too bad. The rest? Well, I prefer my Scorpio not look like Darth Vader's rejected prototype helmet.
