Secure front of sunroof console to roof. [When one or both OEM plastic clips have broken].
The Scorpio has an unused bracket in the front center of the opening for the sunroof console. Use a speed nut and screw to secure the “bridge” to the car’s bracket.
To make the "bridge", use any sheet metal about 2” long by 1” wide. Bend and/or cut it to the appropriate shape / size. Secure the “bridge” with a screw to secure it to plastic console. [I used a “J” clip, secures the rain spouting to a building.]
While you have it apart, change the sunroof switch to an ILLUMINATED switch.
