Gentleman,
How many pedal applications should it take before the abs motor cycles on to build up booster pressure?
My car is 3 pedal applications before the motor runs to build pressure back up. I dont get any warning lights. The motor cycles for about 10 sec and then shuts off.. is this normal or should there be more pedal pushes?
This is with a just swapped out used accumulator. Before i was getting the abs and brake lights on every pedal application and the motor was cycling on every pedal hit.
Id like to know if my current accumulator is worth leaving in or should i spring for a new one to the tune of 400 bucks.

You're good. Three pushes before motor runs in fine. Manual says IIRC five; but with three the pump isn't cycling constantly which causes issues down the line.
