Alternate Spare (Donut) Tire - Mercedes or ???

Thinking about picking up a larger spare wheel/tire for the Scorpio. Like the Saab 9000 16" 4x108 spare for the XR, looking for a similar 16" 5x112 option for the Scorpio, to allow for future big brake upgrade. Most VW/Audis won't work as the center bore is too small (except for the very recent Audis that have a 66mm center-bore). Any specific recommendations?

Found this as a starting point... https://www.wheel-size.com/pcd/5x112/

I'm interested in a better solution than swapping the tire in the back with a front flat and putting the donut on the back if at all possible.

I've got an extra rim, so does a full-size tire fit in the hatch wheel well?

I thought our wheel well was too shallow.

The well is deep enough to accommodate an OEM wheel & tire. The limitation is the "bracket" at front of well. I often wondered about the "bracket". I'm presuming it makes the structure more rigid. Is it only be on US cars to meet safety regs? Do European versions have the "bracket"? Could it be cut out and replaced with a removable brace? Idea: add 2 brackets as are in rear of well and use nuts/bolts to hold a removable brace.

Wrong car. I thought this was the XR category.
