If you want to use an alternative abs sensor and do not want to hack up the factory wiring try these people. They have some lots of weird stuff.

Or possibly use the old connector from the original "bad" sensor and splice that in if it was in usable condition.

The connectors I posted will work fine.

Chop off connectors from both transit and the harness side of the Scorpio.

It is no problem striping off a section of insulation of the outer shield an peal the braid back and twist it. Tin it with solder.
Now remove the center insulation and reveal the center core. You then solder the pins for the new connectors to each of these.

After inserting the pins into the plastic housing of the new connectors you then seal the back of the connector (and the coax) with Plasti-dip or Flex seal (or quality hotmelt glue) . I would probably slip a piece of shrink wrap over the back side of the connector when finished, to make it look nice and provide some strain relief.

BTW, FlexSeal is amazing stuff. It just takes a long time to cure.

Sure they may work fine but you will have hacked up the original factory wiring. Also there will now be a short section of unshielded through the new connection.

Right, new, modern, connectors that are easy to separate. Loss of shielding for the short distance of the connector is not an issue.

But it is also possible to take the connectors off of your old sensors and splice them onto the Transit sensors.
