Gnari manifold?

Post by James Wieler »

Anybody got one of these Gnari exhaust manifolds in their XR? What is the issue with it interfering with the AC?
Pics would be great.
cheers

It fits like a stock E6. If a stock manifold works without interference, so will a Gnari. The Gnari does sit the turbo out a little further, for most situations that is not a big deal.

Maybe since the external is mounted in top?

I sent them an email for clarification, I hope it's the AC hose as most of us have relocated that line around the strut tower.

Hi all,
Looks like it should fit so someone needs to take the plunge.

I got this replay from Gnari and though I'd post it here:

"We listed our manifold for non-A/C XR4Ti because it has only been tested in our shop on a non-A/C vehicle. We are pretty sure that the manifold would fit without issue, but do not want to say they fit and ship manifolds to customers without first testing the fitment ourselves.

Goodluck on your project and thanks for the interest."

Digging up old posts but, I have a Gnari manifold on my current purchase and the guy I got it from had already removed the ac for whatever reason and I plan on replacing it soon.
