Whatever works for you👍.

[Heat softens electric tape adhesive (the shifter shaft gets warm). Teflon tape doesn't; use a few turns or more of it until the knob grips firmly on the threads.]

If you decide to use that, carry a fire extinguisher or 3 at the least. That is same as the felpro and leak prone.
