Phil Dorsey (OPMD.com) had some solid (non-hinged) ones at one point, that I think were "compartment exempt". That was years ago though - he may not have re-stocked.

Curious what you're thinking here Ben? :?

I'm looking for anything, now if the non-first aid is lighter, then thats what I'm looking for, if we're talking about a 1 lbs or 2 lbs for the parcel shelf and it's going to cost 200 + dollars then maybe it doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm getting to the point, that the dollars to pounds are getting out of control, I mean, I just got Titanium bolts for my wheels 380.00 dollars later, to save 4 pounds

I have to have a full interior and that includes the parcel shelf (SCCA Rules), I went out to find black interior for my car and Merkur Midwest got it out of 89 XR, the interior of the 89 is 7 lbs lighter than the 85 XR, how about those apples. :D

Stock for Merkur(not that they'd know), was a hush panel with compartment. That's interesting that materials, or manufacturing process changed enough in just 3.5 to 4 yrs.
