Fuel delivery problem, from the gas station pump.

Post by mikerobison » Sat Apr 05, 2008 2:11 am

Does anyone have to feather the fuel into there tanks? Even one steady notch on the pump handle is too much for both my xr's. I believe it is due to too many baffles in the filler neck of the tank. Is there a remedy? I'm sick of smelling like gas when it pukes onto my hand and having to hold the trigger in freezing weather.

mikerobison,

Clean your fuel tank vent, that should eliminate the problem.
