No mention of mono-red 87 at all. Are you wearing 3-D glasses when looking at the brochure? That must be making that mono-white car look red.

Salesman's memory from 20 years ago? Hardly counts.

Still have $100 here for proof of mono-red 87 coming out of the factory.

I'm finally getting a chance to get in here with some pictures. I was putting together a web page that documented all the changes back sometime around 2003 or so. I never got through it all and kept discovering other changes. I have a database of pictures that document the changes, but even some of those are terrible because the images are tiny/came from scans/were extracted from other images/etc. As a result, I still have some work to do before the pictures are going to be decent. In the meanwhile, I'll post a few of what I have.

also i would like to add that the seat belt sticker on the window are different from 1985 is a one year only sticker and from 86-89 are all the same

Center speaker in the dash? what years ... did they come in...

and did not the lower dash speakers change in size?

Chris, are you saying they changed the interior fabric style before the 86MY? I have a 5/85 that has the original window-pane style.

One of the many strange differences on my 12/84 build car, I think it turned out to be a relay for the A/C.

The center speaker came in the 85/86's, most of which now look like a dry lake bed.

I think the front speaker size changed to 5x7 when they upgraded the stereo in 87.

Probably a dealer job. Around here, there were a lot of bold designs w/ pinstripes......but I assume again it was a dealer thing. What about the "XR4Ti" stickers on the doors ala Kate Ertls cars?
