RATTLE??

Well maybe bang, every time I hit any bumps ect. The noise seems to be coming from the rear shock or spring area. A few months ago when I first got my 89 it made just a little noise but its getting worse, when I did the service I didn't see anything obvious like loose shocks,bushings or bolts. Is there anything that can "usually" cause this?

I dont know, but will look. I did take everything out of the back including the spare, still noisey. :dunno

My 85 done this, it was a bent shock. Replaced and everything is good. Couldn't tell it was bent because of the plastic cover{housing} was hiding it. Also you should check your gas tank, that the straps are tight.
