be sure to post this over on passionford in the UK... im sure you will get rid of a few there.

does it cover any 4WD or just 2WD? I know they never 'made' a 3DR 4x4, just wondering though

very nice!
pete
97% of the info is all Cosworth RWD. There are a few lines about the V6 4x4 which Ford did use on just a few select events---it was used by Blomqvist in Monte 87 and '88 and it was an enormous dog...

If you'd like to see more 4x4 stuff look on Mare-koooor Sprout at this same thread and follow the link I posted for all the other books before the 3 door Cos and after---or just buy one of the spare complete 4x4 set ups I have here: everything you need ready to ship.

Looks like it's up on Amazon sooner than expected. Faster/cheaper shipping options this way, but no discount. If you want the discount, you still have to get it from the link I listed in the first post.

We're over half way into 200 already, so if you want a copy you should act sooner than later!

Thanks,
Peter

Any particular reason why only 200 copies? Worldwide I'm sure it will be a quick sellout I saw the post on passionford.

I'm not entirely sure Pete. It's just the limit that Ford put on the copyright release. It took a while for me just to get it in writing, and I didn't want to press it any farther. It might just be a standard operating procedure.

I'm just happy that Ford let it happen at all, as I'm sure they wouldn't have printed it themselves otherwise.

The demand from Europe is much lower than I though it'd be actually. Maybe the car is just too far past its prime there. Almost all of the orders so far are from the US.

Wow that is very interesting that most of the orders are from this side of the pond.

The book is easy to get in UK---there are always copies around and there are always copies on Flea-bayz.uk

Think I paid £5 for the last one I got--the first one I got in '89 was just £7.50

Just what do you need?

Engine mounts, cross-members, Bilstein suspension for gravel or fast road cars or asphalt
283 x 32mm front brake kit with Wilwood 4 piston calipers sized correctly with 125mm long pad---which we should note weighs what a stock 256mm rotor weighs?
Diffs?
Diff mounts?
control arms, rear semi trailing arms reinforced?

You want full engines completely rebuilt?
Want 2wd or 4wd? Choice of 3 right now all 100% rebuilt, all std/std cranks and 0,5mm overbore---
need 4wd drivetrain? 2 full set ups plus spares.
Clean stitchwelded bodyshells?
Want photos?

Parents ordered the book for me on the 18th and they were able to surprise me with it this morning. Came in yesterday.

Thanks again Pete!
