HELP.! Body parts needed.

Post by roger longman »

I've managed to re-arrange the front end of my '88. Will be needing : front/nearside wing, front bumper and, possibly hood. Could anyone help with some pointers ?.......Roger.

I have all those parts including hood, fenders, doors, bumper (frame) but not a bumper cover. It's all in SC though, if you're willing to pay shipping I can get it to ya. FYI shipping a hood about 1000 miles 2 years ago cost me 57$ I think, through Greyhound - yes they ship stuff in their extra space under the busses lol. Why not!!

Hi Travis, Thanks for the offer but if I can get parts locally it would be preferable. Dominic told me he had all the parts but, was away for a week. I'm waiting to hear from him......Roger.

Spot-weld cutter. Something of an alternative, you could just drill all the way through the spot welds and then bolt the "new" fender on. Just be sure to get some primer on the bare metal.

Aye there are about 25 spot welds you'll have to cut - its a serious job indeed. The fender I have are already cut off in the above prescribed method and would need to be welded/filled in when reinstalled.
