i bought a cam pickup to take place of my distributor. I have scott wilson upgrading my ms2 right now to take advantage of the crank and cam pickups.
the problem was I could not find a pig tail so do these work?

All I know is that when I was a auto tech. the early 90's ford car that I work on, that was the one thing that failed but luckly for the 2.3 XR there easy to get to.

The distributors dont fail often...though the TFI does and so does the aux shaft. As for the sensor...thats a camshaft reference signal for sequential injection(I know...I have one I will probably be using) , I dont believe it will work as a crank signal though...install a crank trigger wheel. ..Pyropete makes a nice crank trigger set for non DIS blocks. On the other hand the stock distributor can be used for the crank trigger as well, even if you dont use it to supply spark.

I am getting a crank trigger from scott also. so I will be running the cam and crank together for sequential spark for now. till I go to ms3. just wanted to know if that pigtail would work with that cam sensor. thanks

Turns out that plug will work with the cam synchronizer. got them in the mail today. :headbang
