Head gasket replacement

I have a follow on question in regards to what to do with the head off... Is there a good gasket kit somewhere to replace all the gaskets that can be replaced? I am looking for a fel pro 8993, but I also want to replace the other gaskets, but I am not sure what gaskets are the better ones to get. Also, any benefits of getting a forward facing intake other than cosmetics?

Felpro offers a head gasket set that has all the upper engine gaskets.
This includes valve seals, and intake gaskets as well as turbo gaskets. I usually get that but plan on tossing out the exhaust manifold gasket and possibly the cork valve cover gasket.
This is available at most parts stores. HS8993PT2

Shorter intercooler piping, not running a cooled intercooler pipe back over a hot exhaust manifold, etc.

good point. Are there any necessary modifications that go with that? I am thinking the accelerator cable maybe. You dont have any IC piping kits that would go with that, do you?

Retains the stock throttle cable. No IC piping at this time.
