AVO 30-016 springs. Can't find any info.

Post by reddy2300 »

Does anyone have an old AVO catalog that has the part numbers and applications? I have a set of springs that I know are for an XR4ti. Don't know if they are stock ride height or lowering springs. AVO UK is unresponsive to email.

Per their current catalog (doesn't include that part # unfortunately), that series (30 series) have a ~25% increase in stiffness and the majority (besides the standard 4x4) drop 30mm. I know it's not directly from the part #, but that is probably some good guess work.

*Just found this: "Lowers the car to give an aggressive and sporty stance, uprated by approximately 25% giving reduced body roll. All springs are epoxy coated to protect them from road grime and stress tested for increased life.

Lowers by 25mm

Ford Sierra XR4i (pigtail) (85>86) Lowering Springs"

I simply googled AVO Road Springs. Since that part # is either discontinued or not advertised.
