Hatch supports/shocks

Best place to find replacements? Mine won't even hold the hatch door up.

I'm a terrible salesperson for myself, so I am going to recommend MPM or rapidogroup.com

The "generic" ones from the parts store / ebay / amazon are kind of weak. MPM and Rapido both seem to stock the stronger ones.

I just returned a pair to Advance Auto Parts. They were an exact match size-wise, but were weaker than my originals that won't hold the hatch up.

FWIW, I used the Sachs SG304018 from rockauto - they are a little *too* much - the hatch goes shooting up unless you manage it. They are NLA from rockauto, but maybe you can find them elsewhere.

I just bought and installed a pair of new replacement hatch struts from Merkur Parts Midwest in Chicago. They work perfectly.
