Changing bolt pattern

Post by Chris_12 »

Before everyone goes crazy because of another wheel thread... I have been reading here and on the interwebs, and I still am not sure how to change the bolt pattern from a 4x100 to something else. Do I need to find a certain hub or an adapter? If so, recommendations? This has been hanging me up on upgrading my brakes to a 4 disc setup for racing. I still need to figure out a common, good rotor and caliper setup which leads into the wheel choice.

Now I have read (on here) that these wheels (https://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome-c ... -8793.html) are good and use 245/45/17 tires. I have not purchase anything yet because I dont want to waste money on parts that wont fit.

EDIT: to be honest, if someone who races/raced a XR posts "use this rotor, this wheel, this tire, and this thing-a-majig" I will probably follow that route.
