What year Silverado headlights did Rob use for ihis custom nose for the XR?

Thanks, the ones that I have found online so far all have a amber strip on the outer side, the ones on my car don't have that. Do you know of a good source with a wide variation for these?

Mine that I have done a rough fit, and fit well, have that reflective strip on the outside. It is not shown once installed.

My new smoked Silverado headlights are after-market, purchased on eBay. They have the orange side markers built in, but with the smoked cover it's not really noticeable.

One minor unrelated note.... The black plastic used in these headlights is not as strong as the factory ones. As a result, the top fitting used to hang the assembly collapsed down easier when tightened. I remedied that issue by putting a tube spacer in there for the bolt to go through. It was sorta ghetto'd - I think it was three ~3/4" length spacers pulled from a a couple Saab exhaust manifolds. Somehow I knew they might be useful one day. :mrgreen:
