Finding Build/Sales History?

I received an inquiry from a forum member that I think was meant to be a post.

Hi there, Michael here in Ireland. I recently bought a Merkur xr4ti. It's
1988 in terms of year. It's chassis data is as follows WF1BT80W6JM607011.
Does anyone know how I can find this cars date of first registration and manufacture based on the above chassis information,

Carfax and/or Autocheck is what comes to mind for me. I don't know how far back their records go and I don't think they have manufacture date, do they?

First date a title was issued and first date of registration on carfax / autocheck.

Those services provide nothing at all on manufacturer build dates, but that's already on the car, door tag with month and year and then the yellow strut tower lettering with the month and day.
