Stock piling parts for major work...

Post by zxr250cc » Fri Jul 13, 2018 5:52 pm

Hi all,

I have been building up a pile of parts to do major work on my XR4Ti and wonder if others do the same. At the moment I have piled up control arms, CV axles, wheel bearings, various other suspension parts and am working on four different items at the same time.

Oh, I have been enjoying reading and replying in here!

Cheers

I have enough parts to build a second car at this point

No one wants to buy them, I feel too guilty throwing them away...so they sit.

Joe,

Just so you know, it isn't that I don't want to buy Merkur parts, it's that I need a place to store them, I've got higher priorities that need the money worse, etc. Despite that, I have parts that I've forgotten I own and don't remember buying. I also have parts that I remember buying but don't know where I put. And there are still parts that I need. But not this month.

Boxes of stuff to sort through, old junk, and new parts.
Time for a garage sale!

Yes, I think everyone does pretty much. I've got two parts car that also double as parts car part storage lockers.
