Anyone used removable paint on wheels?

Post by zxr250cc »

I am thinking of trying this as a temporary option before I decide what to do long term about wheels. The paint is partially rubber based, it seems.

Do you mean like plastidip? Lots of people do it but if you're going to REdo your wheels anyway, why not wait and do it once? The selling point of plastidip and similar is that you can peel it off but I've seen instances of it getting in very annoying wheel crevices and becoming difficult to remove.

Plasti-dip is pretty cool. If it is on thick it peels ok. To remove easy use a whole can of WD-40 on a set of wheels, wait five minutes, then power wash off.
