You need a cable-clutch bellhousing, a clutch, and a driveshaft from an 80's Mustang 2.3, a driveshaft adapter from 460 Machine, an auto XR speedo cable, and a crossmember from Rapido.

No, 400 is not a good price unless maybe it is freshly rebuilt. DO NOT pay extra just because it came from an SVO. I would look around for a T5 from an 87-93 2.3L mustang or 87-88 Turbocoupe.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN 88 SVO. They were made 84-86. It might be an SVO T5 (Special Vehicle Organization), kinda like FMS or something, but I can gurantee it's not a Mustang SVO, unless he is mistaken on the year. Most important thing is, does it have the 2.3l bellhousing?
