changed tps now dies when i start car.

hey guys i just bought a new throttle postion sensor, put it on and now it dies when i start the car. if i start it and hold a little gas it takes about 45 seconds and then it is fine. but once i turn it off try it again it does the same thing. do you think it is a bad tps? thanks ken.

SETTING IDLE
-Un-plug IAC
-Start car
-Turn idle screw till car idels at 700-800 rpm
-Plug back in IAC
-Set TPs


SETTING TPS
-Remove upper bolt and lossen lower bolt IAC to give your self more room to work. With KOEO (KEY ON ENGINE OFF), probe voltage across the Green and the Black wire. At closed throttle position voltage should be between 0.9 volts and 1.0 volts. At WOT voltage should be greater than 4.25 Volts. Once set tighten the 2 screws holding it in place and retest voltage to insure it has not migrated.
