Merkur Meet @ my place?

All my local Merkur Fanatics,

I am considering hosting a little get together @ my place sometime this spring or summer. Please reply if you're interested.

Activities involved will be a pot luck style BBQ, the consumption of beer, the talking of cars, and the playing of Darts and Horseshoes (i still have to dig the horseshoe pit)

If this is something that you would be interested in, please let me know. I live in Columbia, CT - within 2 hours of at least 5 XR4Ti owners that i know, but I am going to join this with a CART (local race club) meet and a Focus meet as well.

The event will be a saturday that does NOT preceed an autocross. I drive like $#!* when i'm hung over :)

I think we should just pick a date and time and then show up at Ray's. That would be the courteous thing to do, taking all the pressure off him of selecting a date. :mrgreen:

Hell i'd be happy to host a merkur party again - we had maybe a dozen to 18 people during the 2010 little shindig.

Was a good time; darts, horseshoes, beer, cars, followed by a bonfire. Not a bad way to spend a lazy summer day.

Just curious, if you hold this around the same time as Carlisle, I would be interested. I am going to try as hard as I can to make it this year, seeing how I used to live on the west coast, and more likely than not, I will be in the Air Force next year.
